What I’m doing now

(This is a now page, and if you have your own site, you should make one, too.)

I’m living in East Nashville, producing and performing on stand-up comedy shows as often as possible. I have my 13 year old daughter every other week, so I plan things in or out of town based on that schedule. I live with her and my girlfriend, Mary Jay Berger (who is also a comic), plus four flying squirrels we call the “Wondertwirrels,” a turtle named “Jared” and a neighborhood cat we call Squncle Dunkle Funkle Rump (and about 30 other names, although his formal name is Ollivander).

I have a stand-up comedy radio show called “Nashville StandUp Sits Down” on WXNA 101.5 FM every Wednesday from 1-2pm, which is live streamed at wxnafm.org and then saved as a podcast at NashvilleStandUp.com & ComedyPodcast.com.

I’m volunteering at Walden’s Puddle wildlife rehabilitation & education center, working toward being a licensed squirrel rehabber.

I play Shroud of the Avatar (“Lord British” / Richard Garriott’s spiritual successor to Ultima / Ultima Online), Fallout 4, Skyrim and a few other games when I have time. I’ve live streamed some of that but want to do more.

I’ve been live streaming comedy shows in various forms since 7/25/2015. My first attempt was an “Online Only Open Mic” which evolved into “Sunday Night Stupid” (sketches, standup, stupid stuff) and I’ve recently started taking my setup to live stream public events in venues other than my house on NashvilleStandUp’s youtube channel.
