April 13, 2022: moving, editing video, dogs, Weird Al, The East Room

(This is a now page, and if you have your own site, you should make one, too.)

I am in the process of moving. Nashville used to be a very progressive outpost in a very red state, but over the last decade or so this town has devolved into an adult disneyland for morons and I’m outta here. I’ll always have the Riden Hascienda land in East Tennessee, but I have bought a few acres just outside of Taos, NM and I’m headed there to build my Earthship-inspired off the grid weirdo compound.

Follow my progress over on my social media.

Good luck, Tennessee. You’re gonna need it.

I am trying to find the time to finish editing my “NashvilleStandUp @ NECAT” stand-up comedy showcase tv series. Only one has aired so far, but I’ve got 3-4 more shot.

I had zero interest in doing indoor shows while COVID was raging, so I stayed home and ramped up my dogsitting operations at AtomicDogCare. I’ll continue doing that in Nashville thru May, then load up and take the rest of my stuff to the Chaderossa in New Mexico.

I’ll be back in Nashville for my daughter’s birthday and then to see Weird Al Yankovic at the Ryman on May 29th.

June 9-11, 2022 The East Room is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary and has asked me to produce a stand-up comedy show there on the 9th since I ran my Spiffy Squirrel showcase there for a few years and broke a GD world record a couple times on that stage with #BrokenRecordShow. Legally I can’t say who I’ve booked, but it’s a killer lineup you don’t want to miss.

After that, I’ll be on the mesa in the high desert building stuff. If/when the world falls apart, come on by.
