A lot of big time performers have one of those “Demand Me!” widgets where (I’m assuming) you can DEMAND that they come and perform live in your basement. I think that’s awesome. I don’t have the fanbase that Jim Gaffigan or Maria Bamford has, but I never want to miss a promotion opportunity, so I just signed up for Eventful.

The very best benefit, so far, is the widget that says, “Chad Riden: Demanded by 0 people in 0 places!”

Sounds just about right.

I realize the widget is 30 seconds old and there is no way there could be any demands, but they encourage you to post this everywhere.. myspace, facebook, my site, twitter, whatnots..  and why wouldn’t I!? Why would I not want to show everybody just how in demand I am? O people in 0 places, bitches! Suck on THAT, Gaffigan!
